What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember information about your visit.

Cookies We Use

Session Cookie (Essential)

Name: next-auth.session-token

This cookie keeps you signed in. It is essential for the app to function and cannot be disabled. It expires after 1 hour of inactivity.

CSRF Token (Essential)

Name: next-auth.csrf-token

This cookie protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. It is essential for security.

Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage to save your preferences such as selected tenses, study mode, and filter settings. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you are signed in, in which case it is synced to your account.

Third-Party Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Google may set cookies as part of the Google OAuth sign-in process. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the service. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies via their settings menu.
